Vermicilli kheer with a Royal touch.......:))




Ingredients :

Vermicilli - 1 cup
Milk - 4 cups
Sugar - 1/2 cup
khova- 1/4 cup
Ghee - 2-3 Tbsp
Few Almonds - chopped
Few cashewnuts chopped
cardommom powder - 1 tsp
Raisins - 1/4 cup
Silver foil for decoration

Method
Fry vermicilli in 2 Tbsp of ghee,till light gold in colour.Skin the Almonds and chop them into small pieces.,fry these in 1 tbsp ghee,till toasted along with cashewnuts and raisins.Boil the milk,add the vermicilli and keep on stirring over low heat till the vermicilli is done and the kheer is thickened..Reduce heat and add the khova, sugar stirring all the time till the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat, and mix in the almonds, cashewnuts ,cardomom powder and raisins .Serve chilled with a little silver foil on top for decoration.
